I’ve wrapped up my 15th (and busiest) year as an architectural photographer—which means I’ve now spent a decade and a half waiting for perfect light, moving furniture exactly 1.7 inches, and politely asking clouds to cooperate across the Midwest.
Huge thanks to the architectural design firms, interior designers, and furniture manufacturers who trusted me this year to photograph their work. From commercial interiors and custom furniture to large-scale architectural projects, you let me obsess over straight lines, material textures, and clean reflections—and that makes my job a joy (and occasionally a full-body workout).
I’ve been especially grateful to collaborate with Midwest architectural design firms and furniture manufacturers creating thoughtful, well-crafted spaces that deserve equally thoughtful photography. Capturing how design, materials, and light come together—whether in a finished building or a meticulously built piece of furniture—is what keeps me fired up after 15 years.
Here’s to more shoots, more beautiful spaces, and hopefully fewer surprise rainstorms in 2026.
If you’ve got a project wrapping up in 2026 and need architectural or furniture photography anywhere in the Midwest, I’m your man—tripod and bad jokes included.
And I couldn’t do it without these two gents who give it their all every single day:
Levi Yocom and Michael Herrick — thank you both.
Thanks for an awesome year!
